Strange and Humorous Sights of the Week

I'm at a loss at the moment and IF anything I merely feel like RANTING and rather than post something I may regret later I'll only subject you all to another edition of weirdness I find on that wondeful invention of Al Gore's.

CHARLIE DON"T SURF! Suppose I could have also put a pic of Professor X. here for that caption.
Out of the mouths of Babes. HEY! Her Mom works at Home Depot and she is selling snow shovels-get your mind out of the gutter.
This is too sweet but I do not need another reason to get pulled over.
I love DUNE and those Guild Navigators are super creepy.
The new DeWalt Nail Gun coming to a hardward store near you.
This kinda looks like the rear entrance of my old high school's auditorium. People said it was haunted.
I knew there was something weird about that guy.
We all remember where we were the first time we heard Dumbledore had been shot. Its a generational thing.

  1. What do you feel like ranting about? Is it about your book release schedule? If it is -- and even if it isn't -- I feel for you! :-)

  2. I remember where I was, but not because Dumbledore was iced (stiffed?). I had been expecting it. I remember because of who did it.

  3. I remember we didn't want to read the book so we went straight to wiki and read the spoilers. I still remember the stunned silence in the room when we discovered Snape killed him. Just like the look on Rock's face in you pic. :)

  4. Thanks Melanie-lots of little things I can't change so I shouldn't let bug me as much.

Deborah-I wasn't expecting it but then I was behind several books at the time.

Michelle-the Rock, he says it all.

  5. Hey, David. Behind several books? That's how I feel. So VERY behind. Ugh... But I guess it's better than being behind only one, right??

    Hang in there.

  6. Elizabeth-yeah I'm kinda behind in the reading I have been planning on getting done for other poeple and myself. But on the bright side I am very happy with all the writing I have accomplished this year.

  7. I really believe the Rock is actually surprised! he's such a great method actor!

they should put him in the next two movies as "Surprised Wizard #2" and throw him in the background somewhere.

    i'd see it.

  11. I always enjoy your pics but especially your comments lol! Always a good idea not to rant when later you might regret it, and once it's out there on the internet, it's permanent record!
