Strange Sights of the Week

And now to clear the palette before all my own stuff comes barreling through-Strange Sights of the Week, odd internet pics I found somewhere.

Loved this one when I first saw it.
If you get it -you get it.
The main character in my Roar of the Crowd story is named after this Tyr.

This why I don't believe in evolution-it doesn't always help things.
Someone gave these boys bad directions.

And lastly here is Jayne Mansfield reminding you all that my novel, Heroes of the Fallen is just about to be released. Thanks Jayne, I appreciate it.

The "Battle of Hastings" would have been funny if the grammar had been correct. I spent many frustrated minutes trying to work out what they were saying. Oh, well. On the other hand, I loved "Baroque Obama!" And "Snapes on a Plane," and the missionaries on the moon. Thanks for posting these!

Melanie-its a play on a scene from Pulp Fiction.

Thanks Terry, not too long for yours either.

Hey Tamara, I thought you'd like that.

Glad I could help Nisa.

Lisa-I will do what I can, getting the hang of blogging can take a little while.

Thanks M, pretty quick here.

Charles-always a pleasure to have you drop by, I appreciate the comaraderie.

LOL. Too funny. Where the heck do you find these things?

David J. West said...

Hi Angie, they are just all over in my strange travels. I save 'em when I find 'em for these rainy days.

Hey, David... Luv your pics--especially the Tyr one. It's so peaceful and thrilling at the same time. Love the concept of a wild beast being tamed...

:)

Thanks Elizabeth, except that's Fenris the wolf who devours the sun during eclipses and the only one who could chain him was Tyr, and he lost a hand doing it.

These are great! I love the missionary one and the car one. And LOTR, and Snapes on a Plane...

Yeah, I have issues with making decisions. But they're all fun.

David J. West said...

Thanks Nichole, I had a hard time making up my mind too.
