It's been almost one year since Heroes of the Fallen was released and Author J. Lloyd Morgan (The Hidden Sun & The Reluctant Wanderer in the How the West Was Wicked antho) gives me a great review.
He writes, "I must say, I'm impressed. - - I can't praise this book enough--not only for its pacing and story, but the vivid characters West brings to life."
I surely appreciate that-sales (I know they occasionally happen) are very nice, but it makes your day to know you are being read and that someone catches that fire your were trying to spark.

Speaking of, when the heck's the second volume coming out?
I've had a little bit of this, a little bit of that...and I'm turning in the manuscript to my editor this coming weekend.
If things go well it should still be a release for this year.
Congratulations on the AWESOME review by a respected fellow author! It does feel so, so wonderful when someone "gets" it the way meant for it to be "got."
P.S. I can't believe you have that connection to Ann Jillian! I can just imagine how lil' David West must've combed his hair extra special-like when he went to visit gramma. ;)
