Writing, so I can't think to Blog

I am writing hardcore this week to meet a deadline (or two) and thus just can't think about any good blog posts-so here is a collection of quick pics-giving a rundown of inspiration on what I am writing at the moment.

Whispers of the Goddess for the Rogue Blades Entertainment Anthology: Roar of the Crowd. So there you are, a window into my madness. Main character-Tyr Thorgrimson, Northman with the Crusaders of 1204, enjoying a drink.

General feeling of said Northman toward others-emotional need.

General idea (but wrong artifact) of Tyr's placement in the Eastern Empire.

Tyr rough-housing with some of the Varangian guard-or Northmen who swore an oath to serve the Emperor of Constantinople.

You gotta know when to fold em and when to walk away.

My biggest distraction when it comes to writing.

He's just here to clear the palette.

How Tyr sees the Athena Partheno in the forum (replica at top)

I'm the opposite, I blog and can't think to write. Although if I get in my 2 hours a day, I'm okay with it.

Work the juices. Writing is WAY better than blogging. Great pics! Love them all. Especially the first.

Keep at it Karen, wasn't so long ago you didn't want to do it all.

Thanks Mary, the first pic is a replica of the Athena Partheno and hence the titular goddess of WHISPERS OF THE GODDESS as well as the last being Heidi Klum's Athena-my main character is going to see the statue as a blending of each.

Awww, your biggest distraction is so cute!

Love the picture about relationships, too.

But what a cute distraction. :)

Melanie, Karlene, Thats my oldest.

Charles, I hear ya. I'm not even sure where that excellent Viking battle one is from or who the artist is.

Interesting and yes, I agree with Charles on the art.

I'm betting you could find a LOT of inspirational artwork, relative to your fav genre, by looking up some of the artists for Magic the Gathering (the card game). Some of their artwork for those cards are just breathtaking and they fall right in line with the swordplay concepts you love so much.

Void, Yeah I have seen a bit of their stuff (I had some friends that played Magic-but I don't have the time) some great art there.

My favoritest picture of all of them is the one with the cutie boy toddler. He's so dashing and handsome and adorable!!!

*Swoon. He won me over hands down. ;)

Totally understand the "can't think of a blog when I'm writing" thing. I like the pics. I'm a huge fan of despair inc (do you ever listen to their podcasts?). They make me laugh.

BTW, I gave you an award on my blog.
