I marked out the "Go get it" trip in blue and the return to Red Mesa in...red. I expect this is something I will write about soon thereafter as much for my son as anything.

A blog about my writing and interests, in whatever bizarre and esoteric field they may fall.

David can’t remember a time he wasn’t writing. From
the primordial splash of a drowning
Atlantis to a pair of vigilantes' six-guns blasting raw justice in the
old west. From obsidian tipped arrows raining down on Cumorah’s slopes,
to crusaders'
broadswords sweeping over shadowy terrors, and on to the cold vacuum of
space and the birth of a new star, David is there, recording it all for
your edification and amusement.

That does sound like a very strange road trip, definitely the makings of a story. So sorry about your father-in-law. Please give Deb my condolences.
Thank you Karen. Dad had been battling Cancer since April, and it just spread too quickly. He passed away very peacefully yesterday afternoon at around 2:30.
It was a beautiful experience for me, and something that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Sorry to hear about your Father in law.
Thank you Karen.
Love you Honey.
Charles-we appreciate it.
Sounds like the makings of a mighty fine story. What a great screenplay potential.

Tossing It Out
Thanks Arlee, I appreciate it- the whole time I was driving my son kept spouting stuff that I wished I could write down then and there.
Soon.
So sorry about your Father in Law. You and your family will be in my prayers.
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad the end was peaceful, though. Good luck on your drive...that's an incredibly long way to go (especially with a 5 year old).
Thank you Angie.
Angela-we had a great time and I will record it soon-lots of story there.
Sorry to hear about your father-in-law. I just thought it was interesting since my grandmother came from Mancos, CO.
Berin-I love Mancos, it's beautiful-we have to drive through there to get to Red Mesa.
